🗓️ My Japan Itinerary: 9 Days and 8 Nights in June
To avoid the peak travel season of the summer vacation, I often choose to travel in June. June is considered the off-season for tourism, with fewer tourists, better experiences, and not too high temperatures. Flights and hotels are also cheaper. This trip was planned as entering from Tokyo and exiting from Osaka. I stayed four nights each in Tokyo and Kyoto, and on the last day, I went directly from Kyoto to Kansai Airport for the return trip, skipping Osaka. 🏙️ Four Days in Tokyo In addition to the regular routes within Tokyo, I added a visit to the University of Tokyo and took a trip to Kamakura. The Tokyo Metro 72-hour ticket was very useful. 🚄 Fifth Day: To Kyoto by Shinkansen I departed early in the morning to take the Shinkansen to Kyoto. Staying near Kyoto Station was the best choice. Kyoto is truly a place that leaves you lingering, living up to its reputation as one of the world's most popular tourist cities. It turned out to be very wise to allocate the last day, originally planned for Osaka, to Kyoto instead. ⏳ The Power of Time The power of time is stronger than you think. Those situations that you thought you would never forget, will gradually become more and more blurred over time. In the end, you can only recall some moments and fragments. Therefore, images are very important; be sure to take plenty of photos. They can truly reproduce the scenes of that time at any moment. As the saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Text is also indispensable; be sure to record in time. Because sometimes even when you look at the photos, you still can't remember the context of the moment. 📝 Detailed Planning Before Each Trip I always make detailed plans before each trip, and this time is no exception. I will share the specific itinerary of this free trip to Japan in several posts.
