Over the weekend, my family and I were exploring the Alhambra Main Street area and stumbled upon this new soft-opening restaurant — and they’re offering 15% off during their trial run! 🎉 The space used to be a BBQ spot, but now it’s serving up some seriously generous dishes. Here’s what we tried: 🍄 Dry Pot Tea Tree Mushrooms Packed with mushrooms and wok-tossed with pork belly and garlic leaves — so aromatic! The pork is crisped to perfection, and the mushrooms soak up all that savory goodness. Highly recommend! 🍅 Tomato & Tofu Skin Beef Hot Pot Served sizzling in a clay pot. I expected veggies at the bottom, but no — it’s loaded with tender beef slices, tofu skin, and tomato in a tangy-sweet broth. My kid loved it! ❤️ 🌶️ Spicy Beef Short Ribs (Mild) Flavorful, tender, and fall-off-the-bone — tasted just like the spicy dry pot beef I had back in China. Perfect with rice! 🍚 Seafood Fried Rice Scallops, squid, shrimp — wok-fried and full of wok hei! 🔥 🍶 Sweet Fermented Rice Ball Dessert – $8.99 This came out as a HUGE bowl — way bigger than expected! Filled with mini tangyuan, egg drop, and osmanthus blossoms. Super comforting and a total steal! The portions are generous, prices are fair, and the staff was super polite.
