🏙️ Okay, But Not Worth the Price – Better Options Nearby 🧳
We recently stayed at this hotel and found it to be a mixed experience. While it wasn’t bad, it didn’t quite meet our expectations given the cost – especially when there are other chain hotels in the area offering larger rooms and more affordable parking. 🕒 Late Check-In & Service Check-in wasn’t available until late in the afternoon. The front desk staff didn’t offer much information about the area or hotel amenities like breakfast options – a little guidance would have gone a long way. 🅿️ Parking & Fees Parking here is expensive – valet parking alone costs $65 per day. If you're driving, this can really add up over a multi-day stay. 🏊 Pool & Amenities The pool is on the smaller side but does come with a poolside bar – a nice touch if you're just looking to dip your toes and sip a drink. There’s also a restaurant/bar inside the hotel, which is convenient. 📍 Location On the plus side, the hotel is close to restaurants in the Gaslamp Quarter and the stadium – great if you're here for a game or a night out. 🛌 Room Conditions Our room was fairly small – not much space to move around if you have luggage. We also found a dirty towel and a pencil under the desk that had been overlooked during cleaning. That said, the window opened (nice for fresh air!), and the tea/coffee setup in the room was okay. 👥 Staff Highlights The housekeeping staff, servers, and valet attendants were all friendly and helpful – a definite plus! 💫 Overall Impression The lobby is beautiful and gives a great first impression, but the value just isn’t there compared to other nearby hotels. For the same price (or less), you can find larger rooms and cheaper parking in the same area. #HotelReview #GaslampQuarter #MixedExperience #Overpriced #SmallRooms #ParkingFee #ValetCost #BetterOptions #TravelSmart #HonestReview
