🏞️ Picture-Perfect Town 2h Away from London 🚞
Done exploring the hustle & bustle of London? How about a day trip to the town of Canterbury! It truly lives up to its pictures and was such a peaceful & relaxing experience. 🌼 To get there, you would have to book a National Express coach that takes about 2.5-3 hours depending on which station you get on from London, and costs about £18 (~$30) per person for a round trip. The timing doesn't really matter, so don't worry if you're late. ⏰ The town was so pretty, and the houses were all tiny & looked like cottages. We didn't get to explore the attractions much (like the castle & white cliffs), but the neighborhood was amazing with great food & cafes. The highlight is definitely the river surrounded with all the flowers. 🌷 We ate at: Côte Brasserie Fringe & Fringe Coffee Morelli's Ice Cream And here's a list of other cafes that were highly raved about: The Goods Shed Café du Soleil The Korean Cowgirl Notorious BRG I would say that Canterbury is worth a visit, but only after you've visited everything you want in London! It's a pretty chill and scenic place, perfect for a leisurely stroll & rest in the gardens. 🚶♀️🌳 #england #canterbury #wheretogo #travelrecommendations #AestheticTravel
