๐๏ธ Richmond Graffiti | A Historic City Bursting with Color ๐จ
Richmond is full of surprises! Beyond the must-see VMFA, Maymont Estate, and The Jefferson Hotel, here are two more gems: ๐๐ป โ Carytown Located near the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, this vibrant commercial district is packed with restaurants ๐ฝ๏ธ, souvenir shops, ice cream parlors ๐ฆ, and even a rare bubble tea spot! ๐ฅค The area comes alive with colorful murals and painted buildings โ perfect for a relaxed meal, shopping, and soaking in the creative vibe. โ Capitol Square Home to the Virginia State Capitol ๐๏ธ. When we visited, it was almost empty โ peacefully quiet. Youโll find statues of George Washington and powerful group monuments advocating for educational equality. The square is ideal for a stroll โ wide lawns, beautiful fountains โฒ, and a serene green escape in the heart of the city. Richmond is still a under-the-radar destination โ and as we head further south, the spots get even more hidden ๐ฟโ๏ธ. I love exploring places most Chinese tourists skip!
