🏙️ Salt Lake City|Rooftop Restaurant in Downtown

Located on the top floor of the Hyatt Regency Downtown. Great daytime views — snow-capped mountains in the distance, a swimming pool nearby. ❄️🏊‍♂️ They recently launched a weekend Alpen Globe Brunch — served in cute little round compartments that are super Instagram-worthy! 📸✨ The menu features lots of local ingredients. For example, the elk comes from a farm in northern Utah. They also serve a whole roasted pig 🍖 from a local farm — a hybrid of Iberian and another breed, claimed to be the first restaurant in Utah to do this. Requires one-day advance booking and feeds 10+ people. 🦪 M | M Oysters Loved these! Even as someone who doesn’t usually enjoy raw oysters, these were small, sweet, and tender. Topped with coarse pepper, red onion, and chives — a bold, wild flavor that contrasts beautifully with the oyster's delicate sweetness. 🍣 Tuna Crudo The fruit pairing changes often — sometimes with blood orange and smoked pistachio oil (interesting!), sometimes with radish (a bit plain). Always beautifully presented, but the tuna quality was mediocre — bland and not very fresh. 🦐 Shrimp & Grits al Ajillo A Spanish-inspired seafood barley “risotto.” The barley had a nice chew, and the sauce had a surprising tang. Available during lunch hours. 🥘 Duck Confit Canelons Most duck breast I’ve tried is French-style, but here it’s paired with pomegranate and pistachio — a Middle Eastern twist usually seen with lamb. Crispy sage replaced mint, which was creative, though the duck was a bit overcooked. 🏙️ Ambience: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🅿️ Parking: Typical downtown situation 💰 Price: Around $80 per person Mar Muntanya 📍 170 S W Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84101 #100RestaurantsChallenge #GlobalFoodies #BudgetFriendlyFinds #SaltLakeCity #Utah
