🌤️ San Diego Air & Space Museum
We set out early today and explored the area a bit – it’s packed with museums and even a zoo! 🏛️🐾 We arrived right at opening time at 10 AM and did a quick walk-through, checking out all kinds of aircraft and NASA equipment ✈️🚀. The Moon Base area is designed especially for little ones 👶✨. It’s a bit dark and not very large, but there are plenty of toys and even a small stainless-steel slide. There’s also a drawing and coloring station with fluorescent markers – both kids spent a long time coloring there 🎨💫. We had lunch reservations at a seaside restaurant nearby 🍽️🌊, so we skipped the 4D movie. After lunch, we found a small park with a mini beach and playground. The kids played until 2 PM before heading back to the hotel for a nice long nap 😴💤. The sea breeze this season is still quite strong 🌬️🧥, and it gets pretty chilly digging in the sand by the ocean. The bay area is a bit more sheltered, but the shore is covered with a lot of seaweed, and the sand isn’t the cleanest… but hey, the kids still had fun! 🏖️👣 #SanDiego #AirAndSpaceMuseum #FamilyDay #TravelWithKids #NASA #BayDay #SeasideFun
