❄️ Seattle 0°C | Warm Up with Korean Hot Pot 🍲 | Unexpected Gem!

Seattle is hitting 0°C today—freezing cold outside, but my heart is warm and full thanks to this amazing Korean hot pot 💕! This morning, I randomly found this spot while scrolling through food apps—no research, no reviews, just decided to go for it on a whim 🤪. And guess what? It totally exceeded my expectations, no disappointment at all! The restaurant is super cozy and comfortable 🛋️, with soft lighting and a warm ambiance that makes you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. Even better, there are 3 private rooms—perfect for group gatherings or parties 🎉! Today, there was a birthday celebration going on in one of the rooms, and you could feel the happy vibe from afar. They use tablets for ordering, which saves so much time waiting for servers 📱! No more waving and waiting anxiously—just tap on the screen, and your order is sent directly to the kitchen. Super convenient, especially when you’re starving and can’t wait to dig in 😋! My partner and I ordered the Combo Hotpot (Tendon, Brisket, Tongue) 🍲. The portion was surprisingly generous—loaded with tender beef tendon, juicy brisket, and savory beef tongue, plus Napa cabbage, enoki mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, and even abalone 🐚! Every ingredient soaked up the rich, flavorful broth, and it was so warm and comforting. We ate until we were stuffed, and still had a whole box of broth left to take home 🥡—perfect for making soup noodles tomorrow! There are only 3 side dishes: kimchi, spicy radish, and garlic-marinated raw squid 🦑. Let me tell you, that garlic-marinated squid was my favorite! Sweet and spicy, super delicious, and I refilled it twice without hesitation ✌️. The kimchi and spicy radish were also fresh and crunchy, the perfect complement to the hot pot. The best surprise came when we checked out—the server lady spoke Cantonese! 🇭🇰 It felt so familiar and warm, like talking to a friend. In a foreign country, hearing your hometown dialect suddenly is such a heartwarming moment 🥹. Other dishes on the menu also look super tempting—there are so many things I want to try! I definitely plan to call more friends next time and come back for another feast 🤩. If you’re in Seattle (or Federal Way) and craving warm, delicious Korean food on a cold day, this spot is a must-visit! 📍 Big Pot Seolleongtang 큰솥설렁탕 33120 Pacific Hwy S 4, Federal Way, WA 98003 #KoreanFood #HotPot #FederalWay #Seattle #SeattleWeekend #SeattleFood #FoodHunt #SeattleWinter #WarmFood #KoreanHotPot #CantoneseServer #Foodie #SeattleEats #GroupGathering
