🏝️ South Island 5-Day Travel Journal | Nelson & Pupu Springs
We followed our guide from the shore all the way to the beach near Split Apple Rock 🍎⛰️. Each kayak go t a turn to snap a photo in front of the famous rock 📸✨. From pictures, it looks like you could easily swim to it — but once you’re there, you realize it’s much farther tha n it seems! 🏊♂️🚫 Unless you’re an expert swimmer, it’s not recommended. After kayaking, we continued north toward the famous Windows wallpaper spot — Wharariki Beach 🖼️🏖️. On the way, we stopped at a salmon farm 🐟🎣. We originally just wanted to grab a quick bite… but then we saw the fishing option! We ended up carrying a fishing rod longer than me, a cooler box, and a net 🎒🤣 all the way to the lush green riverbank 🌿🎊. It was totally worth it — fresh air, gorgeous views, and the thrill of catching our own lunch! What a day full of surprises and natural beauty 💚🥾 #NewZealandDiary #SouthIsland #Nelson #Kayaking #WhararikiBeach
