Just spent a delicious day exploring Tacoma β hereβs the rundidown: π΄ Eats: VK Viet Kitchen Restaurant Grilled squid was a standout β tender, bouncy, perfectly chewy! π¦ Tried the beef bone pho β the bone was flavorful, but the noodles were a bit broken. Broth was on the sweeter side. The sweet & sour dipping sauce gave the squid a fun twist! Makchang Drama No other place around does Korean offal BBQ like this! π₯ Got a combo with large intestine, small intestine, stomach, and heart. Loved the stomach and large intestine β especially when charred and crispy π Side dishes were just okay though. β Drinks: Common Ground Coffee β 4.9 β well-deserved! Cozy vibe, great beans. Matcha strawberry drink was pretty and tasty ππ Parking available right outside. Naomi Joe Coffee Roasters β 4.9 β quirky spot inside a food hall-style building. Cappuccino was interesting (not sure I βgotβ it), and the pistachio-strawberry special was very syrupy. Worth a try though! Van Lierop Park Swung with a view of Mt. Rainier! Wouldβve been even prettier with flowers a few weeks ago πΈποΈ Point Ruston Another gorgeous mountain-view park!
