Tacoma Summer Day Trip 🌞✨

Perfect for a relaxed summer day out — Tacoma delivered lots of surprises! I originally planned to visit the state museum 🏛️, but luckily stumbled upon a free festival right outside! There were artist booths, live music 🎵, and a super lively atmosphere — total bonus vibes. Next, I headed to the Proctor Farmers' Market 🥕🌷. It’s not huge, but it’s cute — full of fresh flowers, live performances, and delicious food. I grabbed a freshly made pizza 🍕 and enjoyed the sunshine. Then off to the Museum of Glass 🔮🎨! It felt like a sister museum to Seattle’s Chihuly exhibit — lots of Dale Chihuly’s works, especially large installations displayed outdoors (so impressive!). The bridge leading to the museum is a piece of art itself 🖼️. While the indoor collection isn’t huge, the live glassblowing demo was even more spectacular than Seattle’s — so cool to watch! 🔥👀 After that, I popped into the Washington State History Museum 🚂📜. It looks big from outside, but it’s actually pretty compact. The model train section is the highlight — it recreates an old-fashioned town in amazing detail.
