Tacoma Summer Day Trip ๐ŸŒžโœจ

Perfect for a relaxed summer day out โ€” Tacoma delivered lots of surprises! I originally planned to visit the state museum ๐Ÿ›๏ธ, but luckily stumbled upon a free festival right outside! There were artist booths, live music ๐ŸŽต, and a super lively atmosphere โ€” total bonus vibes. Next, I headed to the Proctor Farmers' Market ๐Ÿฅ•๐ŸŒท. Itโ€™s not huge, but itโ€™s cute โ€” full of fresh flowers, live performances, and delicious food. I grabbed a freshly made pizza ๐Ÿ• and enjoyed the sunshine. Then off to the Museum of Glass ๐Ÿ”ฎ๐ŸŽจ! It felt like a sister museum to Seattleโ€™s Chihuly exhibit โ€” lots of Dale Chihulyโ€™s works, especially large installations displayed outdoors (so impressive!). The bridge leading to the museum is a piece of art itself ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ. While the indoor collection isnโ€™t huge, the live glassblowing demo was even more spectacular than Seattleโ€™s โ€” so cool to watch! ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ‘€ After that, I popped into the Washington State History Museum ๐Ÿš‚๐Ÿ“œ. It looks big from outside, but itโ€™s actually pretty compact. The model train section is the highlight โ€” it recreates an old-fashioned town in amazing detail. For dinner, I tried Asado ๐Ÿฅฉ โ€” not the most authentic Argentine grill, but still pretty tasty! ๐Ÿ˜‹ A fun, easy-going summer day well spent! #Tacoma #SummerInTacoma #MuseumOfGlass #WashingtonState #DayTrip #TravelWA #PNWSummer
