๐Ÿ”๏ธ Turin's Off-the-Beaten-Path Museum You Might Miss ๐Ÿ”๏ธ

Tucked away beside a church, this museum is easy to overlook when we're drawn to the grand cathedral uphill. This museum is a perfect stop for hiking enthusiasts. It showcases a variety of climbing equipment, the use of tents โ›บ๏ธ, different skiing gear, and memories from the 2006 Winter Olympics. My personal favorite is the 2nd-floor terrace, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the entire mountain range from Monviso to Valle dโ€™Aosta. Although you can see some mountains ๐Ÿ”๏ธ from the small viewing platform at the church entrance without a ticket, the moment you take in the full panorama from the terrace makes you feel the entrance fee is truly worth it! Admission ๐ŸŽซ, I bought a reduced ticket for 7โ‚ฌ (for those 26 years old and younger, no student ID check required), and a full ticket is 10โ‚ฌ. Tip: The adjacent church, Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, is free to enter and worth a visit. I came on a Sunday, and the museum is closed on Mondays, so it's a good idea to check the hours on Google before you come. #Italy #Turin #TurinMuseums #ItalianLife #ItalyMuseums #WorthVisiting #HikingLovers #Alps #Italy
