🏜️ Utah | Will the Arches in Arches National Park Really Disappear?

❤️ Having traveled to all 50 U.S. states, I’ve shared guides to 40 national parks + hot cities on my homepage. More are coming—follow me so you don’t miss out! ❤️ 📒 【Itinerary】 D1 Salt Lake City → Moab (4h drive) D2 Arches National Park 【Must-See Spots】 👉 Park Ave Here you’ll see towering rock formations, but the real highlight is just eight minutes further by car. This spot offers a grand view of famous formations including the Three Gossips, North and South Window Arches, and Balanced Rock. Don’t forget to take a panoramic shot here! 📸 👉 Balanced Rock One of the park’s most iconic sights 🪨 Its unique structure comes from different rock types—the harder capstone resists erosion while the softer base wears away. One day, it will collapse. (There are actually many balanced rocks throughout the park—keep your eyes open!) 👉 Garden of Eden A natural sanctuary sculpted by time and elements 🌿 👉 Double Arch A rare double arch sharing one base—with a surprise opening at the top, almost forming a “third arch.” This extra hole was carved by accumulated rainwater over centuries. Time-lapses here under shifting light are simply magical! ✨ 👉 Windows Trail An easy 20-min hike 🥾 with restrooms available. See the North and South Window Arches (like two giant eyes 👀) and Turret Arch standing guard nearby. 👉 Delicate Arch The most famous arch 🏆—plan about 1.5 hours round trip to hike up. Winter visits make the climb much more comfortable. 🍴【Food Rec】 Arches Thai 🍲 Address: 60 N 100 W, Moab, UT 84532 🏠【Stay Rec】 Hyatt Place Moab 🏨 890 North Main Street, Moab, Utah, 84532 ⚠️【Tips】 1️⃣ The trail is fully exposed in summer ☀️—bring LOTS of water and sunscreen. Half a bottle per person may suffice in winter. 2️⃣ Hiking shoes are ideal, but sneakers work. I made it in boots (though they stretched 2 sizes!). Trekking poles aren’t essential. 3️⃣ One section runs along a cliff—stay cautious even though it’s wide. 4️⃣ Afternoon light is best for photos 📅. We arrived 2 hours before sunset and caught the sun framed within the arch. 5️⃣ Restrooms are available at the trailhead. 🚻 #ArchesNationalPark #UtahTravel #NationalParks #TravelUSA #HikingAdventures #MoabUtah
