๐Ÿ™๏ธ We Absolutely Love the InterContinental San Diego! ๐ŸŒŠ

The InterContinental San Diego (IC) is our favorite hotel in San Diego โ€“ and weโ€™ve stayed at most of the downtown hotels! The IC just does everything exceptionally well. The rooms are modern, the beds are super comfortable, and they offer both regular USB and USB-C ports โ€“ a travelerโ€™s dream! ๐Ÿ“ฑ๐Ÿ”Œ Plus, the Wi-Fi is reliable and the large flat-screen TV is perfect for winding down. ๐Ÿ“บ๐Ÿ’ซ Weโ€™ve always been impressed by the well-trained staff. The housekeepers are friendly and always check if we need anything, and the front desk has never let us down. The location is one of the best in San Diego โ€“ right on Harbor Drive with beautiful views of the bay and city skyline. ๐ŸŒƒ๐ŸŒ‰ Weโ€™re about to hit our 10th stay soon! My wife always mentions how comfortable she feels walking around the hotel grounds. We truly love the suites โ€“ they're spacious and offer stunning bay views. If you prefer something cozier, be sure to request a corner room. There are also "Club" rooms on the top floors that include access to an exclusive club lounge with complimentary food and drinks. ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿง€ The hotel features two casual restaurants and an upscale Italian restaurant on the top floor. Room service is elegant and delicious, though there are also plenty of amazing San Diego restaurants nearby. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿฅ‚ Having stayed at AAA Five Diamond hotels before, Iโ€™d confidently rate the San Diego IC at 4.5 stars. The only reason Iโ€™d deduct half a star is the lack of a spa โ€“ though you can always request an in-room massage through the hotel or services like Zeel. The service, room quality, and overall atmosphere are absolutely five-star in our book! โœจ๐ŸŒŸ Luckily, the ICโ€™s pricing is comparable to four-star hotels in the area. A major perk from the IHG group is the "Ambassador Club" โ€“ for around $200 (or points equivalent), you get a free weekend night, guaranteed late checkout until 4 PM, and many other benefits. Itโ€™s one of the best loyalty programs weโ€™ve seen! ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ๐Ÿ›Ž๏ธ In summary, after staying at every four-star hotel in downtown San Diego and nearby Coronado, we firmly believe the InterContinental San Diego is the best. It offers a five-star experience at a four-star price โ€“ and honestly, what could be better than that? #InterContinentalSanDiego #FavoriteHotel #LuxuryForLess #HarborViews #ClubLevel #IHGAmbassador #NoSpaButStillAmazing #WillBeBackAgain
