Back in New York, I’ve discovered all kinds of hidden speakeasies—some tucked inside phone booths, coffee shops, or even East Village Japanese restaurants… But in LA, they’ve taken it to the next level! Laurel Hardware in West Hollywood lives up to its name—the entrance looks just like a hardware store. But step inside, and you’ll find a whole new world! 🪟🌿 Floor-to-ceiling windows, a stunning glass atrium, lush greenery, and attractive servers—it’s basically RH hidden inside a hardware store! I’ve been here multiple times—for brunch, lunch, and dinner—and it never disappoints. It’s perfect for hosting out-of-town friends, catching up with the girls over drinks, or just hanging with close friends. The food has a similar vibe to Republique, with a cool American-Korean fusion twist. 🍴✨ 🐶 Plus, it’s pet-friendly! My pup got to enjoy some prosciutto and cheese too 😍 The atmosphere is absolutely romantic—ideal for birthdays, dates, or small gatherings! 🥩 Sticky Glazed Short Ribs: Fall-off-the-bone tender ribs glazed with Korean spicy sauce and sprinkled with parsley. Rich, glossy, and so flavorful—you might even want a bowl of rice with it! 😆 🥗 Arugula Salad: My friend and I have such similar tastes—we always enjoy good wine with cheese, ham, olives, and green grapes. We loved this salad so much we added extra Parm ham, balsamic vinegar, and Parmesan. Perfect with wine! 🥂 🐔 Chicken Shawarma: Huge portion! Marinated with cumin, lemon, and garlic, then roasted on a spit until juicy inside and crispy outside. Served with yogurt sauce, tomatoes, onions… and the rice (not saffron-flavored) actually went great with the short ribs! 😆 🥦 Grilled Broccolini 🍮 Ice Cream Croissant Pudding: So yummy! 😋 🍷 Had such a great time catching up with my friend—we enjoyed 4-5 glasses of white wine.
