🏞️ Zion National Park Guide: Easy & Advanced Hikes
👨👩👧👦 For Beginners/Family-Friendly Hikes 1️⃣ Canyon Overlook Trail 🚗 Drive to The Zion-Mount Carmel Tunnel. After the tunnel, park on the right-side lot or along the road (limited spots!). ⏱️ 1-hour round trip with diverse scenery ending at a panoramic valley viewpoint. ⚠️ *Note: Tunnel has one-way traffic during peak hours (we waited 20 mins). Restroom here is a pit toilet!* 2️⃣ Riverside Walk 🚗 Park at Zion Canyon Visitor Center, take the shuttle to Stop #9 (Temple of Sinawava). ⏱️ 1-hour round trip on a flat, paved path along the river. 🌊 Perfect for all ages! 🧗♂️ For Advanced Hikers 1️⃣ The Narrows Start at the end of Riverside Walk (Stop #9). Wade through water with depth from knee to chest-high. 🥾 Rent water gear or bring sturdy shoes + hiking poles! 2️⃣ Scout Lookout via West Rim Trail Shuttle to Stop #6 (The Grotto). Leads to Angels Landing (permit required beyond this point). 🏔️ Steep climb with chain-assisted sections—not for faint-hearted! ⚠️ General Tips Parking: Extremely difficult—arrive early or avoid peak hours! Shuttle Required for most trails except Canyon Overlook Trail. East Exit Tip: After Canyon Overlook, exit east toward Page/Bryce/Grand Canyon—scenic and efficient! 🚙💨 #ZionNationalPark #Utah #Hiking #TravelTips #FamilyTravel
