I recently visited this Mexican restaurant and overall had a really great experience—definitely a solid 4 out of 5 stars from me. The food was flavorful, the portions were generous, and the atmosphere had a clean, vibrant, and authentic vibe that made it feel welcoming without being over-the-top.
What stood out most was how fresh everything tasted. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the meats were tender, and the tortillas tasted like they were made in-house or at least sourced from somewhere that knows what they’re doing. I also really appreciated how they didn’t skimp on toppings—everything felt well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Whoever’s running that kitchen clearly knows flavor.
Now, the only reason I didn’t give it a full 5 stars—and I almost did—is because of the ordering process. There were no menus at the table and no traditional servers, which kind of threw me off. You order everything—drinks, appetizers, entrees—up front at the counter, then find your seat and wait for your food to be brought out. While I understand the system might be for speed or convenience, it’s a little inconvenient if you’re not familiar with the menu or want to pace your meal. Once you sit down, that’s it—you can’t really wave someone down to grab another drink or dessert without getting up and going back to the front. It made the experience feel a little more “fast casual” than I expected.
That said, the service was still friendly and efficient. The staff were helpful when I had questions about the menu, and the food came out surprisingly quick after ordering. The presentation was clean, and everything came out hot and fresh.
If you’re someone who doesn’t mind ordering at the counter and you’re there mainly for good food, then I highly recommend checking this place out. I’d definitely go again—and maybe next time I’ll come a little more prepared knowing how the process works. The food is...
Read moreWent here yesterday with my fiancé, right as we walked in got looks from customers talking in Spanish and laughing. Don’t know what’s up with my own type of people but we went to the front to order. I ordered 2 tacos and 2 sopes. My fiancé on the other hand got menudo the pork belly soup. My food was okay it wasn’t the best carne asada meat it tasted strange really the only good thing was the salsa verde. My fiancé never have had tried menudo and he said it was horrible, I wasn’t spicy or anything just tasted old and the meat was really nasty. He still tried to eat since he didn’t want to waste any until he couldn’t anymore. Then we saw a man most likely a cook come out from the kitchen with a big pot and took it outside. Not sure what that was about but made it sketchy and strange maybe the menudo was old? But either way fast forward today he’s having Diarrhea and horrible stomach pain wasn’t able to work well. But he doesn’t feel good at all and this was the last meal he had. Will not be...
Read moreVery poor customer service, it took more than a 30 minutes to bring the food to the table(fast food restaurant??) a family member/customer asked for a different drink since the pineapple drink was not good and it wasn’t natural, the server/cashier stated “ that she couldn’t change the drink since she already took a sip out of the drink”. This server/cashier did not bother to replace the drink to the kid and not even bother to offer or sell a new drink to this kid. I am posting this review due to poor customer service and because her unwillingness went beyond poor service. Another example of this poor service was when we were about to leave for some reason she went out of the restaurant and we met by the door since we were a medium group of people she held the door and I personally said Thank you to her and no response/feed back from her at all, her body language pretty much re-estates her poor...
