This year's New Year celebration was truly unforgettable - we welcomed 2024 in tropical Cairns! The city was buzzing with energy, and the fireworks over the marina were absolutely spectacular ✨ (though the summer heat was no joke - 35°C with 80% humidity! 🥵). 🌊 5-Day Cairns Itinerary Highlights 1️⃣ Great Barrier Reef Magic Took a helicopter tour 🚁 over the reef - the aerial view of the turquoise waters and coral formations took our breath away! Snorkeled among vibrant fish and coral gardens 🤿 (pro tip: book a morning tour to avoid the strongest sun). 2️⃣ Adrenaline Rush Skydiving over the coast 🪂 - that 60-second freefall with ocean views was LIFE-CHANGING! Whitewater rafting through the rainforest - soaked but smiling 😆. 3️⃣ Wildlife Encounters Fed kangaroos 🦘 and spotted sleepy koalas at a wildlife sanctuary.
