Fares: Peak $4.05 / Off-peak $2.25 (free transfers within 2 hrs). π Stay Hotel Metropolitan (opposite Central Market) β budget-friendly & central! π Day 1: German Heritage & Views π Hahndorf Australiaβs oldest German village β cute shops & timber houses. β οΈ Avoid Tue/Wed (many shops closed). π Mount Lofty Summit Panoramic views! Bus runs only at 10AM & 1PM (or hike 3km). π Glenelg Beach Sadly, the Ferris wheel is gone now β feels like a quieter Port Melbourne. π° Day 2: History & Coastal Walks π Carrick Hill Free gardens / $12 student ticket for the English manor tour (90yo guide Mary was a highlight!). π Hallett Cove Beach Coastal hike to "The Sugarloaf" (colorful rock formations). We got rained out β check the weather! β π¨ Day 3: City Culture π Central Market Like Queen Vic Market β fresh produce, seafood & snacks. π Victoria Square β Parliament House Free tours at 10AM & 2PM (45 mins). π State Library β SA Museum β Art Gallery All clustered together!
