π¦πΊ Adelaide 4D3N Itinerary (Self-Drive Edition) Day 1οΈβ£: German Village + Glenelg Beach Rented car at airport (20min to CBD). Hahndorf German Village (35min drive): Must-try: Pork knuckle & sausages (~AUD40, rich but gets heavy). Glenelg Beach at sunset (30min drive) β perfect golden hour! Day 2οΈβ£: Kangaroo Island (DIY Adventure!) 6:30AM drive to Cape Jervis (100min) β 1hr ferry. Highlights: Remarkable Rocks (otherworldly formations). Seal Bay (wild sea lions). Admirals Arch closed for maintenance (sad!). Note: "Jellyfish Beach" is overrated β skip if short on time. Driving: ~4hrs to cover key spots. Exhausting but worth it! Day 3οΈβ£: Penfolds Winery + Vietnamese Feast Late start: Recovered from Kangaroo Island. Lunch at Little Da Nang: Durian smoothie + pho (~AUD80 for two, stuffed!). Penfolds Magill Estate: AUD20 wine tasting (waived with purchase β everyone buys something!). Skipped Barossa (1hr extra drive). Day 4οΈβ£: CBD Culture Walk Self-guided tour: State Library (historic beauty). SA Museum + Art Gallery. Uni of Adelaide campus (way prettier than Monash!). CBD is tiny β all done in 2-3hrs. Why This Works? Freedom of self-driving + balanced mix of nature, wine & culture! ππ·π¦ Pro Tip: Pack snacks for Kangaroo Island β dining options are limited! π₯ͺ #StudyAbroad #AdelaideTravel #AustraliaDiaries
