📍 Where We Stayed: Pelicans Albany (super central, easy access everywhere!) 🌊 Nature’s Highlights 1️⃣ Little Beach Underrated gem of WA! Even on a cloudy day, the water was crystal emerald. When the sun peeked out – instant jelly-sea magic (see pics 7-8, no filter needed!). 2️⃣ The Gap 40m-high cliff platform overlooking the furious Southern Ocean – waves crashing like thunder! Bonus: Spotted a double rainbow 🌈 despite the gloom! 3️⃣ Albany Wind Farm 12 giant wind turbines against the horizon – epic at sunset (we missed golden hour, but you shouldn’t!). 🍽️ Foodie Stops 1️⃣ Mount Barker Bakery (Day 1 Lunch) Award-winning pies! Tried the lobster & scallop pie – stuffed with seafood, creamy perfection. 2️⃣ Ocean & Paddock (Dinner) "WA’s best fish & chips" – upgraded to local snapper. Crispy, zero grease, melt-in-your-mouth fresh! 3️⃣ Majuba Bistro (Day 2 Dinner) Duck main = divine 🦆 + mussel pasta = yum. Cucumber gin?
