Perth | The Perfect Travel Destination! 🏜️🐨
“Perth might just be our favorite city on this trip,” my partner and I both said before leaving. Beyond famous attractions like the Pinnacles and Rottnest Island, the city itself won us over.😀 Watching the sunset over the coastal promenade, I suddenly felt so envious of the people jogging and walking their dogs there. Even at 9 or 10 PM, streets were still lively with folks heading out to bars! The city feels clean, modern, and from December to February, public transport is entirely free…🥺🫶 👉 Here’s a mini guide to some key attractions: 📍 Lancelin Sand Dunes & The Pinnacles We joined a day tour led by a local guide. We left at 2 PM and returned around midnight. The tour included sandboarding at the dunes, visiting the Pinnacles, dinner, and stargazing.☺️ The guide was amazing—shared lots of historical insights and even taught us sandboarding! 🛹 Dinner was a simple BBQ set up at the campsite (sausages, bread, and salad). After eating, the guide introduced constellations and provided telescopes for stargazing 🔭. Totally worth it! The Pinnacles at sunset felt both rugged and peaceful, and after dark, mysterious and silent. We loved the wild, raw beauty of it all! 📍 Caversham Wildlife Park A zoo not too far from the city, but not directly accessible by bus ‼️ A taxi costs around $30 AUD. If taking public transport, be prepared to walk 2 km from the nearest stop. This place does animal interactions really well—you can feel the love and respect for the animals everywhere 🧡 Recommended itinerary: 9:00 AM: Enter and feed kangaroos 🦘 10:00-10:30: Molly’s Farm Show 10:30-11:00: Reptile encounter 11:00-11:30: Wombat encounter 11:30-12:00: Free time 12:00-12:30: Lunch at Kiosk (light meals & sandwiches) 12:30-1:00: Koala holding session! 🐨 📌 Tips: You can buy koala holding tickets ($35 per person) at the gift shop near the entrance. Only around 40 spots available daily—come early! Feeding kangaroos and holding a koala were the highlights! Absolutely unforgettable. #DailyLife #NanjingUniversity #UniLife #Perth #TravelAustralia #TravelGuide #WesternAustralia #Pinnacles #CavershamWildlifePark
