🇦🇺 Brisbane Day 1
I spent two full days in Brisbane and managed to cover most of the highlights! Here’s a smooth and efficient two-day itinerary for reference. Day 1: Fortitude Valley Breakfast → Story Bridge → Kangaroo Point → South Bank Parklands → Brisbane Sign 📸 → Queensland Museum → Ferry to Dinner → The Star Casino + Night Views 🌃 1️⃣ Fortitude Valley Stayed at Lylo Hotel in the Valley 🏙️. This area is known as Brisbane’s nightlife hub and Chinatown – lively at night, artsy by day! Full of cool cafés ☕, brunch spots 🍳, and unique architecture. 2️⃣ Story Bridge After breakfast, walk to Story Bridge 🌉. Similar to Sydney’s Harbour Bridge – you can climb it or simply walk across. Great spot for CBD skyline photos! 3️⃣ Kangaroo Point Cross the bridge and follow the riverwalk to Kangaroo Point 🦘. No kangaroos here, but you’ll get epic CBD views 👀 and might see climbers on the cliffs. Very peaceful – perfect for a slow stroll with a breeze 💨. 4️⃣ South Bank Parklands Continue along the river to South Bank 🏞️ – a large park with a man-made beach 🏖️, water features, and outdoor gyms. My favorite spot: the Indonesian-style temple 🛕 left from the World Expo. Don’t miss the Brisbane Sign and the Ferris wheel 🎡 – both great for photos! Lots of lunch options nearby. 5️⃣ Queensland Museum + State Library Both are near South Bank 📚. The museum is known for fossils and sculptures 🦴. 6️⃣ The Star Casino Located in the new Queen’s Wharf development 🎰. Lots of Chinese visitors inside – a few restaurants but often crowded. ✨ Highlight: Head to the 23rd-floor Sky Deck (free elevator from Level 4). Several bars and restaurants with reasonable prices – highly recommend for night views and drinks 🍹! #Travel #Australia #Brisbane #CityWalk #Itinerary #UrbanExplore 🌆📸🚶♀️
