🇦🇺 Just back from Australia… Let’s be real about Cairns…
Finally sorting out my Aussie trip notes 🧳 – starting with Cairns: 🏨 About the Hotel: We stayed at Cairns Harbourside Hotel. Right by the ocean 🌊 – the breakfast view of locals jogging and walking dogs was so chill! 🏬 Great area with everything nearby – even found a late-night store selling chili powder! 🌶️😋 🍽️ About Prices: Pretty pricey (classic Australia 😅) but well-stocked. Got weirdly excited seeing all kinds of chili products in an Aussie supermarket! 🤿 Attraction Tips: Cairns is beautiful, but let’s be honest – in a coastal country like Australia, beaches are everywhere. ✅ Worth it if: You’re snorkeling 🤿 Taking a helicopter over the Reef 🚁 Glass-bottom boat (great with kids 👨👩👧, but adults may find it meh) ⚠️ Warning: Skip the glass-bottom boat if you get seasick. You have to take a fast catamaran to Green Island 🚤💨 – it’s rocky and choppy! (I never get motion sick, but almost did this time 😵) ☀️ If the weather’s nice and you’re here to snorkel – just go for it! 📌 PS: Fun fact – the Great Barrier Reef is the world’s largest coral reef system, stretching over 2,011 km. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World! 🌍🐠 🤔 Any hidden gems in Cairns?
