We had two days for Belgium, which was more than enough time! 🚌 Amsterdam Sloterdijk → Brussels South Station - Duration: Approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes - Cost: €16.99 - Notes: High cost-performance ratio with many bus options. The earlier you book, the cheaper it gets. If you have luggage to be stored under the bus, keep an eye on it before boarding and retrieve it quickly upon arrival. 👀 📌 Day 1️⃣ Brussels - Transportation: Mainly walking, supplemented by tram or train - Essential Route: Grand Place (shopping + lunch) → Comic Strip Mural → Manneken Pis → Royal Palace of Brussels → Visit the European Union headquarters 🇪🇺 🍽️ Dining Recommendations: All within a 6-8 minute walk from Grand Place - Fin de Siècle: Belgian cuisine, average cost €20-25 per person - Frites Atelier: Michelin-rated fries, average cost €5-10 per person - Takumi Chicken & Veggie: Japanese ramen restaurant, average cost €20 per person 📌 Day 2️⃣ Bruges + Ghent - Morning Trip: Brussels → Bruges (approximately 1 hour) - Return Trip: Bruges → Ghent (30 minutes) → Brussels 【Bruges】 - Walking Tour: Total round trip about 2-3 hours (one way only 30 minutes) - Lake of Love: 8-minute walk from the station - Church of Our Lady: 9-minute walk - Belfry of Bruges: 8-minute walk - Chez Albert: Belgian chain waffle shop 🧇, €3-7 per piece, the waffles are delicious! The rooms are clean and spacious, offering great value for money. - Disadvantages: The area around the South Station is quite mixed with many homeless people.
