La Maison du Pêcheur Reservations are a must here—and we had no idea! So we just walked in and ended up waiting around 20 minutes. 🕒 Even before the restaurant opened, there was a long line outside for those with reservations, while the walk-in queue was practically empty. Clearly, everyone else came fully prepared! 🧐 ⚠️ After ordering, the food took forever to arrive—we were starving! 🤤 The seafood platter was around $135 (I think it depends on the season; the server will let you know the price). 🦞 The sauce on the top-left corner with the octopus was incredible! It tasted like lobster sauce—rich and creamy, so delicious. But the sauce with the mussels in the top-left corner was pickled and sour—I couldn’t get into it. It gave me the impression they might not handle mussels very well. 🦑❌ The lobster comes in two flavors: one is steamed with garlic (we skipped this because we could imagine what it tasted like), so we went for the other option—maple syrup with a hint of sweetness, plus a creamy twist. There was even white rice hidden under the lobster, which was a nice touch and tasted great! 😋 We ordered a dessert for the birthday—it was a crème brûlée, slightly too sweet but with a rich hazelnut flavor. They even sang a French birthday song to celebrate with us! 🎂🎶 The oysters, though small (gone in one bite), were super fresh and sweet—no fishy taste at all. 🦪 The staff were incredibly patient and nice. Celebrating a birthday during the trip was such a wonderful life experience! 🥰 #Restaurants
