🇨🇦 AMEX Platinum Dining Credit Adventure at Kiin 🍽️💳

📍 Kiin 326 Adelaide St W, Toronto Tried their 7-course Summer Tasting Menu—a modern twist on Thai cuisine that outshone many fine-dining spots I've visited! 🍽️ Course Breakdown 🌽 Corn Chips Trio: Three curries (mild to herbal) on paper-thin crispy chips—more like dehydrated rice paper than corn. Fun, but gone in one bite! 🥟 Dumpling Trilogy: 1️⃣ Peanut & coconut filling (rich!) 2️⃣ Fried dumpling with sweet-salty fruit (surprise hit!) 3️⃣ Lotus-wrapped shrimp dumpling with fish caviar + curry (so unique!) 🦞 Lobster "Rainbow Noodles": Chilled, tangy lemongrass-chili sauce with fresh lobster chunks. (Mint leaves were too bold though.) 🦐 Shrimp Cake + Tom Yum: Cold tom yum soup = disaster (tasted like soda-spiked broth). Skip it! 🚫 Shrimp cake saved the dish—crispy & juicy. 🔥 Mains (Worth the Hype!) 🥩 A5 Wagyu + Jasmine Rice: Melt-in-your-mouth beef + al dente rice = umami bomb. (Where’s the jasmine flavor though?) 🐑 Lamb Chop + Curry: No gaminess, just smoky char + crispy-yet-soft potatoes. Watermelon radish = sweet aftertaste! 🍨 Desserts 🥭 Mango Sticky Rice: Meh. 🍦 Coconut Ice Cream: Winner! Toasted coconut flakes = perfect finish. 💡 Verdict: Creative & tasty, but skip that tom yum. AMEX credit well-spent! #AMEXPerks #TorontoFineDining #ThaiFusion #FoodieAdventure #UpscaleEats
