π¨π¦ 2 Days in Calgary βοΈ
Spent the weekend exploring Calgary β honestly not tons to do, but it was a nice change of scenery for a couple days! π₯Ά π Contemporary Calgary π¨ I always hit up art museums wherever I go! The current exhibitions here were really interesting π CF Chinook Centre ποΈ Albertaβs low tax rate makes it perfect for shopping! Went to Holt Renfrew the next day but still preferred Chinook β personally think Chinook is more than enough for a good shopping spree. π Pat and Betty π΄ πππππ Didnβt disappoint with any dish we ordered Every item felt special β almost like dining at a Michelin restaurant. They serve one course at a time so you can fully appreciate each dish. Highly recommend! π Calgary Tower πΌ & Sky360 π The tower looks gorgeous at night The rotating restaurant was pretty good. We went during the day since we had a flight later β and the daytime views were a surprising bonus Usually people go for sunset or dinner, but seeing the city from above during the day was a unique experience. If youβre choosing between the restaurant or just the observation deck, the restaurant is better value β same amazing views plus a meal! π We also did some city walk β from the tower down to the Rainbow Crosswalk, then to the Wonderland Sculpture ( an iconic spot!). You could also check out Chinatown or Stephen Avenue Walk, but with the snow/rain this time of year, it wasnβt idealβ¦ so we ended up heading to the airport early to relax. Weekend = complete! π΄ Iβve traveled to so many places since last July and still havenβt had time to write about them all π₯±β¦ catch you in the next post! π«Άπ» #WinterGetaway #Calgary #YYCTravel #Vancouver #CalgaryGuide #CanadaTravel #ArtAndFood π¨π½οΈβοΈ
