Super spontaneous traveler here โ made all plans after landing ๐ Day 1 New York โ๏ธ Vancouver (cleared customs in 5 mins! ๐โจ) ๐จ Stayed at Georgian Court Hotel โ super central in downtown, easy to get anywhere ๐๏ธ Day 2 ๐ฌ FlyOver Canada โ Like Soarinโ Over the Horizon, but got a bit boring later ๐ ๐ก Tip: Book through Xiaohongshu agents โ half the price! โ Starbucks โฆand gelato from Newark Airport ๐ฆ 3 flavors for only $7-8 โ huge portions! ๐๏ธ Granville Island So photogenic! The public market has tons of food ๐ฅ๐ฆช โ Tried: Canelรฉ: crispy outside, soft inside Clam chowder in a croissant bowl โ super flaky but a bit heavy ๐๏ธ Pacific Centre โ Aritzia and Lululemon โ great exchange rate + lower prices! ๐ธ ๐ฎ Gastown The steam clock looks magical at night ๐ฐ๏ธโจ ๐ข Skewers Shed โ Amazing grilled skewer platter! Sat at the bar โ chatted with the owner and got FREE dessert! ๐ง๐ Day 3: All About Chinese Food ๐จ๐ณ ๐ Richmond ๐ฅข Kirin Restaurant โ So good โ felt like I was back in Flushing! ๐ฅฎ Maximโs at Richmond Centre: salted egg yolk pineapple cake โ salty & sweet perfection ๐ง Lansdowne Centre: Happy Lemon bubble tea Shunde-style double-layer milk pudding ๐ Yanbian BBQ โ Too oily and salty for meโฆ or maybe I was just too full ๐ Day 4 ๐ Marutama Udon โ Must-try: curry udon & cold noodles โ so chewy and smooth! ๐ณ Stanley Park โ Perfect except the weather ๐ง๏ธ ๐ฒ Rent a bike early for a relaxing ride ๐ Lazy route: Aquarium โ Brockton Point โ super photogenic spots ๐ธ ๐ง Winter Bear: fluffy shaved ice ๐ Damso โ Order anything โ itโs all delicious!
