๐จ๐ฆ Calgary | A Lucky Find: Delicious & Affordable Dim Sum! ๐ฅฐ
Went out early craving a jianbing from Tianjin Cuisineโฆ only to find out they open at noon ๐ญ Quickly searched online for dim sum spots and found this highly recommended place โ located in a plaza with a T&T supermarket, and only around $30 per person! Super great value ๐ซถ ๐๐ป BBQ Pork Pastry & Egg Tarts The pastry layers are amazing โ must-order! ๐ฅฎ ๐๐ป Pork Floss Cruller (Youtiao) I think thatโs the name โ crispy fried dough wrapped with pork floss. Served with three different sauces that all go perfectly together! ๐ฅ ๐๐ป Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow) Great value โ they give you five pieces! But keep expectations reasonable โ itโs decent, not mind-blowing ๐ค ๐๐ป Phoenix Claws (Chicken Feet) & Steamed Spare Ribs Dim sum classics! The chicken feet are fall-off-the-bone tender. The ribs are soft and flavorful, and the sweet potato underneath is delicious ๐ ๐ฅ Nothing on the table was a letdown โ though no dish was exceptionally standout either. Itโs solid, standard dim sum โ great for the price! Also, itโs not far from the airport and opens at 10 AM ๐ โ ๐ฅ T.Pot China Bistro ๐ 9650 Harvest Hills Blvd N, Calgary #CalgaryDimSum #CalgaryFood #YYCEats #AffordableEats #DimSumLover #CanadianFoodie #FoodReview #StudentFriendly #WeekendEats
