🇨🇦 Calgary | A Lucky Find: Delicious & Affordable Dim Sum! 🥰
Went out early craving a jianbing from Tianjin Cuisine… only to find out they open at noon 😭 Quickly searched online for dim sum spots and found this highly recommended place — located in a plaza with a T&T supermarket, and only around $30 per person! Super great value 🫶 👉🏻 BBQ Pork Pastry & Egg Tarts The pastry layers are amazing — must-order! 🥮 👉🏻 Pork Floss Cruller (Youtiao) I think that’s the name — crispy fried dough wrapped with pork floss. Served with three different sauces that all go perfectly together! 🥖 👉🏻 Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow) Great value — they give you five pieces! But keep expectations reasonable — it’s decent, not mind-blowing 🍤 👉🏻 Phoenix Claws (Chicken Feet) & Steamed Spare Ribs Dim sum classics! The chicken feet are fall-off-the-bone tender. The ribs are soft and flavorful, and the sweet potato underneath is delicious 👌 🔥 Nothing on the table was a letdown — though no dish was exceptionally standout either. It’s solid, standard dim sum — great for the price! Also, it’s not far from the airport and opens at 10 AM 🕙 — 🥟 T.Pot China Bistro 📍 9650 Harvest Hills Blvd N, Calgary #CalgaryDimSum #CalgaryFood #YYCEats #AffordableEats #DimSumLover #CanadianFoodie #FoodReview #StudentFriendly #WeekendEats
