🇨🇦 Canada Travel|2-Day 1-Night Victoria Itinerary
A leisurely weekend trip to Victoria, BC in late spring/early summer — sharing my relaxed 2-day 1-night itinerary! 🍽️ Food Highlights: Shuck Taylor‘s Seafood (no lobster roll available that day, but other seafood was fresh!) Jīn Měi Dim Sum — highly recommended! Other restaurants were decent but not exceptional, so won’t list them here. 🏨 Accommodation: DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Suites Victoria — great location, spacious suites. ⚠️ Books up quickly on weekends, so reserve in advance! 🚗 Itinerary: Day 1: Took a morning ferry to Victoria → arrived at the port around noon. Visited Royal Roads University in the afternoon — over 20 films were shot here! The Hatley Castle on campus is gorgeous 🏰. After dinner, took a stroll from the hotel: Parliament Building (a must-see landmark!) Munro‘s Books (a beautiful bookstore with fun souvenirs) Walked along the waterfront to Fisherman’s Wharf Beacon Hill Park (wild peacocks, owls, ducks + a small petting zoo!) Hidden fountains in quiet corners — perfect for portrait photos in soft light 📸 Ended at the seaside for sunset views over the water toward the US 🌅 👖 Tip: Wear long pants — mosquitoes come out at dusk! Day 2: Butterfly Gardens 🦋 Perfect for animal lovers who don’t mind butterflies flying around! Also home to flamingos, parrots, and other creatures — wear bright colors to attract them! It’s very warm inside — dress lightly. Butchart Gardens 🌸 Allow half a day here — wear sunscreen (I got tanned 😅). Beautiful flowers, elegant landscaping, and even spotted raccoons and lizards! Most downtown areas are walkable — we used taxis for farther spots. This is a relaxed itinerary perfect for those who like to sleep in and take it easy 😌. Victoria impressed me with its beautiful architecture, natural scenery, and slow-paced vibe — no rush, no noise. 👗 OOTDs: Dresses: Self-Portrait (perfect for late spring weather) Shoes: Charles & Keith Bag & Coat: Burberry Camera: GR3 #CanadaTravel #VictoriaBC #TravelGuide #SlowTravel #ButchartGardens #Seafood #DimSum 🌸
