🇨🇦 Halifax 5-Day Car-Free Trip: DAY 2

Technically "car-free," but not exactly today 😉 🚗 I pre-booked a day tour with a local Chinese travel agency covering three attractions for $138 per person. Compared to Western tours ($80-100), it was pricier, but the guide’s storytelling brings the sights to life—and it was totally worth it! Surprise: Only 2 of us on the tour = private VIP experience! 🎉 Destinations: Peggy’s Cove Lunenburg Mahone Bay The guide was incredibly passionate—he shared stories about every street, building, and Halifax’s history/geography throughout the drive 🗺️. This job truly requires a detail-loving, outgoing person (definitely an E personality! 😆). 🏡 Lunenburg A delightful surprise! Strolling through its colorful streets was pure bliss 😊. Though flooded with tourists, most residents are elderly locals 👵👴. We explored a vintage shop with sweet old ladies and scored some $3 treasures 🎁. Also stopped by a cozy local café ☕. ⛪ Mahone Bay A quick pitstop with three picturesque churches—great for photos 📸! 🌊 Peggy’s Cove Breathtaking! Off-season + perfect weather = magical experience 🌞. Ate my first whole lobster here 🦞—the cute server joked, “I’ll go dive for it!” (but really just grabbed it from the tank 😂). The tour ended at 5 PM. After a short break, we visited the Art Gallery (free on Thursdays; usually $15). As a former student near Sichuan Fine Arts Institute, I’ve seen better galleries, but free entry + quirky artworks = still fun! 🎨 🍽️ Dinner at a Korean restaurant + stumbled upon a charming candy store 🍬. A fulfilling day indeed! 💫 #WanderingDay #Travel #ExploreTheWorld #TravelGuide #Halifax #Toronto 🌍✈️🍁
