🇨🇦 Hiking Guide Near Regina🥾🍃
Here’s the second part of my hiking recommendations around Regina! Some I’ve visited, some are still on my list — but all come highly recommended 😊 1️⃣ Crook Lake A huge, unbelievably blue lake that looks almost like the sea 🌊. Perfect for when you’re feeling thoughtful or just need a calm day outdoors. They say “sadness is water-soluble” — come here, brew some coffee ☕, play some music, and relax without a worry. The drive there is gorgeous too: farmland and a winding creek on one side, golden autumn slopes on the other 🍂. Note: it’s a 2-hour drive, better for leisurely walks than intense hiking. 2️⃣ SK Landing Provincial Park I haven’t been yet, but it’s known for its soft, rolling hills — people say walking there feels amazing 👣. 3️⃣ Great Sand Hills Famous sandy desert landscapes 🏜️. Worth a trip if you want to see something different from the usual prairies. 4️⃣ Cypress Hills Still on my list! A forested area rich with wildlife 🐾🦌. Many recommend the Alberta side if you have time. Solo hikers — be cautious! 5️⃣ Last Mountain Lake Beautiful year-round! There’s a bird-watching tower you can climb even in winter ❄️. The frozen lake at sunset is magical. Trails available — but check road conditions in winter ❗(hidden snowdrifts!). 6️⃣ Fairy Trail A charming trail with woods and a small river 🌲💧. Close to Regina — planning to go soon! Word limit reached — that’s all for now! If you finish all spots from Part 1 + this, you’ve pretty much conquered Southern Sask! ✅ P.S. Interested in winter hiking? Snowy trails = next level beauty! ❄️👌 Check out my next post for cold-venture ideas! #ReginaHikes #HikingSaskatchewan #ExploreCanada #Saskatchewan #WinterHiking #CanadianOutdoors #ReginaLife #TravelSK
