🇨🇦 Tipsy Samurai in Regina – A White People Favorite for a Reason!
Tipsy Samurai is Saskatchewan’s first Japanese restaurant specializing in yakitori (charcoal-grilled skewers), founded by Tony Yang in 2019. Located in the Greens neighborhood in east Regina, this spot offers a warm and cozy atmosphere, delicious food, great service, and an impressive selection of sake. 🏮✨ Fun facts: 💡 Koreto is their sake expert – formerly a brewer at Shimonoseki Sake Brewery in Japan. 💡 Chef Ringo is from Osaka and honed his skills in Vancouver and Toronto. We tried the 8-course Omakase dinner: 1️⃣ Kimchi – fresh and appetizing 2️⃣ Sweet potato tempura 🍠 with maple-ginger cream & almonds – sweet and savory perfection 3️⃣ Yellowfin tuna & salmon sashimi 🍣 – some of the best in Regina! 4️⃣ Clam miso soup 🥣 – comforting and tasty 5️⃣ Yakitori skewers 🔥 – rich and smoky 6️⃣ Torched salmon – flamed right at your table 🎇 7️⃣ Ramen 🍜 – with chili oil (perfect for spice lovers) 8️⃣ Dessert – ice cream sandwich & cheesecake 🍰 At $58 per person, it’s a bit pricey, but the experience is totally worth it! 💖 📍 102-3753 Chuka Blvd, Regina SK (Though if I really wanna eat till I’m full… I’d still hit an all-you-can-eat buffet 😉) ✅ Got other tasty spots in Regina?
