🇨🇦 What’s Regina, Saskatchewan Really Like?

Regina is the second-most populous city in Saskatchewan—right after Saskatoon (yep, we’re No. 2 😂). I did some research today, and here’s what you need to know if you’re thinking about moving or traveling here! 🌍 Geography & Size Located in the prairie heartland of Canada. Area: 184.42 km² — that’s even smaller than Shanghai’s Baoshan District by nearly 100 km²! You can literally drive around the city in 30 minutes 🚗💨 ☀️❄️ Weather Warmest month: July — avg 13°C to 26°C Coldest month: January — avg -19°C to -9°C (yikes! 🥶) It can occasionally drop below -32°C — that’s face-freezing, danger-level cold. Best time to visit: May to September 🍁 Tourism score from September to March: basically 0 😂 But hey — you can see the Northern Lights here! 🌌✨ (just like in Saskatoon) 👥 Population Snapshot (2021 Census) Total: 241,465 Median age: 36.2 — much younger than the Canadian avg (by 6 years!) 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Population density: 1,343/km² (vs. Shanghai’s 3,926 — so not exactly “empty”) Fun fact: Saskatchewan’s overall density is only 2 people per km²… now THAT’s wild. 😵 🌏 Cultural Diversity South Asian population: ~9% East Asian population: ~3% So if you’re East Asian… you’re among maybe 7,000 people max 😂 (wonder how much it’s changed since 2021?) 💬 We Want to Hear From You! If you live in Regina — tell us what real daily life is like! ❤️ #CanadianLife #Canada #StudyInCanada #Saskatchewan #Regina #NorthernLights #PrairieLife #MoveToCanada #SmallCityBigSky
