Mission is truly a hidden gem of a town.🏡🏡 It’s about an hour’s drive from the city, a peaceful, pastoral town surrounded by the Fraser River.🏝️🏝️ Here’s our itinerary:✨✨ ✅ First stop: Rocko’s 24 hour Diner 🍔 Open since 1956, it’s famous for milkshakes and burgers, and is often used as a filming location for movies and TV shows.🛴🛴 Must-try:【Milkshake】– recommend Cookie & Cream and mango. You can mix two flavors, and it’s not as sweet as you might think.🏛️ Must-order:【Pulled Pork Poutine】– my top pick! And the signature burger 🍔【Popular Rocko Burger】. The pancakes 🥞 are still delicious even the next day! ✅ Second stop: Fraser River Heritage Park 🏞 On a clear day, Mt. Baker 🏔️ is clearly visible. The large lawns make you feel like you’re in Switzerland 🇨🇭. It’s super photogenic 📸 – I’ve marked all the best spots! ✅ Third stop: Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes ⛪ It’s a 5-minute walk uphill from the park. The white building is perfect for photos. ✅ Fourth stop: Westminster Abbey 🏰 An ancient abbey with a magnificent, solemn church.🌤️🌤️ The stained glass in the church dome shines brightly in the sun.🌞 (Please keep quiet inside the church and dress neatly.)🏔️ Just outside the church, there’s a viewpoint a 10-minute walk away, offering a bird’s-eye view of the entire town. ✅ Fifth stop: Cascade Falls ⛲️ Less than 30 minutes by car from the abbey. There’s no cell phone signal near the waterfall! It’s less than a 10-minute walk from the parking lot to see the waterfall and bridge.🌁🌁 Cross the bridge, and there’s an observation deck for photos! ✅ Head home After leaving the waterfall, drive along Sylvester Rd all the way to BC Highway, or turn from Sylvester onto Dale Rd – you’ll get signal there.
