π¨π¦ Kelowna's Hidden Gems You Can't Miss!
I find myself in Kelowna almost every year - done all the wineries, downtown, and beaches. π·ποΈ This time, while waiting around, I explored some local parks and spots. Turns out, someone else's "boring everyday" is my perfect little adventure! π β¨ 1. MNP Place & Mission Recreation Park This community hub has it all: ice rink, sports fields, library, gym! The nearby park seems ordinary at first glance, but walking through it is so peaceful. Climb up to the viewpoint and suddenly - boom! - the landscape looks like a painting. π¨ Touching detail: memorial benches with fresh wildflowers placed in vases... someone's quiet love still blooming. β¨ 2. Crawford Falls Just minutes from MNP Place. Went off-season so some trails were closed, but we still reached the waterfall. Crystal clear water... tinted golden from minerals! π Nice quick stop, but maybe not worth a special trip unless you're hiking. β¨ 3. Knox Mountain The highest peak near downtown! Drove up through a residential area (watch for the sneaky side road to the summit). The view? All of Kelowna at your feet! π Chilling sight: opposite mountains still show charcoal scars from past wildfires. ποΈ Bonus Find: Stumbled upon a public Lakeshore Beach Access between fancy homes. Sand was public but docks were all "Private" - we still enjoyed our little secret cove! π #CanadaTravel #KelownaSecrets #OffTheBeatenPath #ExploreBC #HiddenGems
