🇨🇦 London, Ontario: Eat, Drink & Explore!
Left Mississauga at noon and arrived in Little London in ~2 hours. First stop: lunch at Rain or Shine Noodle House 🍜 "Depart with dumplings, arrive with noodles"—so we tried their hand-pulled noodles! Decent price & portion. Located on King St (area feels a bit rundown—lots of unhoused folks nearby). Bathrooms are in the adjacent building. Parking hack: Meter was broken = free parking! 🚗💨 (But avoid at night—sketchy vibes.) Heads up: Major construction—traffic jams rivaling the 401! 🏛️ Western University (UWO) One of Canada’s historic "Harry Potter-esque" campuses! ✨ Main campus under renovation—park at visitor spots or side streets (1-2hr max). ☕ Commonwealth Coffee (en route) Iced Americano: S/M/L sizes. Barista warned the large = 4 shots—opted for medium. Rich, bold flavor (go large if you love intensity!). Cute Instagrammable interior, but zero parking—just grabbed to-go. 🍲 Dinner: Grand Ming’s Congee Shared a plaza with Chuanpu (Sichuan), Sugar Marmalade (desserts), & The Alley (bubble tea) + nearby Costco. Verdict: Not as good as Toronto/Mississauga spots, but kid & elder-friendly for price/taste. 🏨 Hotel Life Ended the day with pool time at our hotel (indoor mini water park—full review coming soon!). 💦 #LondonOntario #TravelOntario #CoffeeLover #FoodieFinds #SummerTravel #DayTrip #TorontoEscapes 🌟🍜
