Celebrated a friend's birthday at this gorgeous Mediterranean-style restaurant! 🌿 The ambiance was perfect - spacious, not too loud, and the food was absolutely delicious, especially their DESSERTS! 🤩 What We Ordered: 🍝 Tortelli al Tartufo (Truffle pasta to die for!) 🐟 Hamachi Crudo (Fresh & buttery) 🧀 Burrata (Creamy dreamy goodness) 🐙 Moroccan Octopus (Tender & flavorful) 🎣 Market Price Fish (Daily fresh catch) 🥦 Cauliflower with Hummus (Unexpectedly amazing) 🥩 Beef Tartare (Perfectly seasoned) 🧆 Spanish Croquettes (Crispy outside, gooey inside) 🥕 Moroccan Spiced Carrots (Sweet & savory) 🌱 Asparagus (Simple but well-executed) 🍷 Organic Rosé Wine + NZ Misty Cove White Wine (THE BEST NZ white wine!!) 🍰 Lyla Tiramisu + Lemon Dessert (The lemon one had us swooning before even tasting! 😂) Total for 7 ladies: $750 (tax & 20% tip included) The Not-So-Great: ⚠️ Mandatory 20% tip for groups of 6+ (wasn't clearly stated beforehand) ⚠️ Pricey for portions - Could get two lobster dinners elsewhere! 😅 ⚠️ $5/person cake-cutting fee (so we just bought their tiramisu and added our own candle😂) Final Thoughts: Food was tasty (especially the fresh fish!), but portions were small.
