🇨🇦 Montreal One-Day City Walk Route
Transport: Metro & Bus 🚇 The Montreal day pass (C$11) allows unlimited travel (except to the South Shore). Available at metro stations. Route: Crew Collective Cafe → Leonard Cohen Mural → Redpath Museum (McGill University) → Mount Royal Park → Schwartz's Deli → St-Viateur Bagel 1️⃣ Crew Collective Cafe A café hidden in the historic Royal Bank building 🏦 — gorgeous European architecture with local charm. Coffee reviews are mixed, but I loved its rich flavor. The salmon bagel was just okay — a bit sweet and lacking wheat aroma. ☕🥯 2️⃣ Leonard Cohen Mural A tribute to Montreal’s famous folk singer and poet 🎶🧡. Pass by it on your way to McGill. 3️⃣ Redpath Museum (McGill University) Open to the public 🦴🐘 — features geological mineral samples and animal specimens. Educational and fun! 4️⃣ Mount Royal Park Hike up for a panoramic view of Montreal 🌄 — totally worth it! 5️⃣ Schwartz's Deli A must-try Montreal smoked meat spot 🥪. Very popular — go off-peak to avoid lines. For two people, the Small Plate (with bread and smoked meat) is plenty! 6️⃣ St-Viateur Bagel Stopped at this branch by the highway on our way back to Toronto 🚗💨 Fresh, wheaty, and affordable — under $1.50 each! Even hours later at a rest stop, it was still soft and delicious. #ShareYourLife #Inspiration #CityWalk #Montreal #MontrealFood #MontrealCoffee #MountRoyalPark #MontrealSmokedMeat #ExploreCanada 🍁📸
