🇨🇦 MTL Honest Review Vol. 2

Went to two popular spots with a friend a while ago — both had great vibes, but we probably won’t go back again 😅 (Just personal opinions! They’re not bad, just not for us.) 1️⃣ Miss Wong 📍 1780 Av. Pierre-Péladeau, Laval, QC H7T 2Z1 This place is in Laval. As someone living on the South Shore without a car, it was quite a trip 🚗💨 The decor, atmosphere, and service were all excellent 👍 Very “Shanghai nightlife” vibe — red walls, paper fans, lanterns 🏮 — it looks classy! But the food… well, let’s just say it’s very Western-friendly. They have a huge drink menu 🍸 but only two pages of food. The fried instant noodles and “beef on rice” felt a bit underwhelming for the price. Perfect for photos, drinks, or dates — but not if you’re there for authentic Asian fusion cuisine. We spent around $60–70 per person with drinks. Worth it for the experience, but not for the food. 2️⃣ Tiramisu 📍 989 Boul. Saint-Laurent, Montréal, QC H2Z 1J4 Heard it’s newly opened. We went on Easter evening — maybe dinner menu ≠ brunch? (Brunch is supposedly better.) They opened 10 mins late 🕔… We had a reservation but were seated in the middle (not by the window or couch). Later glad we didn’t — window seats had high stools with no backrest 😵 Our table was wobbly — I had to hold it with my foot to stop shaking 🪑 Dinner menu was limited: burgers or pasta 🍝 Pastas were over $20 each. With drinks, we paid ~$50 per person. Service was slow — we kept waiting… Overall, not a great experience. Won’t return. #Montreal #LifeInCanada #FoodReview #QuebecEats #HonestOpinions 🍽️⚠️
