π¨π¦ Must-Know Instagrammable Spots in Downtown Toronto
Toronto may not be the capital, but itβs full of energy! While Niagara Falls is a must-see, the city itself has so much to offer. Here are my top recommendations π: University of Toronto ποΈ CN Tower πΌ Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) π¦ Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) π¨ City Hall & Toronto Sign πΈ Distillery Historic District 𧱠Casa Loma π° Gooderham Building (Torontoβs βFlatironβ) π’ Eaton Centre ποΈ Hockey Hall of Fame π π Take the subway to Union Station β CN Tower, City Hall, ROM, AGO, and more are all within walking distance. If you have time, hop on a double-decker sightseeing bus! π It costs around $60 for a 24-hour pass with unlimited hop-on/hop-off access. I personally love sightseeing buses β I take them in almost every major city (except Hong Kong, where the ding-ding tram is more fun! π). ποΈ Toronto City Hall: A classic spot with vast lawns and striking modernist architecture. Perfect for a sunny day picnic or just relaxing. Same goes for the University of Toronto β ideal for reading on the grass! π π½οΈ St. Lawrence Market & Distillery District: Just a short walk from City Hall. The Distillery District is filled with cobblestone streets, red-brick buildings, cute cafΓ©s, craft shops, and galleries β super photogenic! πΈ Grab lunch at St. Lawrence Market for a local vibe. If youβre craving Chinese food, head to Chinatown β Alipay and WeChat Pay are widely accepted. π₯’ π CN Tower: You can see this iconic tower from almost anywhere in the city. Best time to go? Late afternoon! That way, you can enjoy sunset views π§‘, have dinner, and see the city lights come alive at night. Donβt miss the glass floor β but be careful if youβre wearing a skirt! π Everyone below can see up, too. πΌοΈ AGO & ROM: AGO: $30 π¨ | ROM: $25 π¦ Spend a full day exploring these world-class museums. The architecture alone is worth the visit! Note: Both are closed on Mondays. β π° Casa Loma: A fairy-tale castle blending Romanesque and Gothic styles. Perfect for photos and feeling like royalty! π #Toronto #ExploreToronto #TorontoTravel #VisitCanada #CanadaEastCoast #CityGuides
