π Drive from downtown Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach β just 80 km (about 1 hour)! In late April, Lake Winnipeg is still mostly frozen βοΈ, with only a little melting near the shore. The beach is quiet οΏ½, with just a few people sunbathing, camping ποΈ, or walking their dogs π. Some migratory birds have returned, chirping noisily over the lake π¦π. Itβs so peaceful π, with hardly any shops open. But in summer, this place must be buzzing with life πβprobably tons of water activities π€πββοΈ! Itβs a great spot for kids to play in the sand ποΈ, take a stroll, or go camping.
