🇨🇦 One-Day Trip to Victoria (With Unique Impressions of Attractions)
8 AM Ferry Ride ⛴️🌅 If you want breakfast on board, head straight to the dining area as soon as you board—the lines get really long! The Butchart Gardens 🌸🌼 The gardens are meticulously landscaped and stunningly beautiful, with a vast variety of flora. Flower enthusiasts can even buy seeds here. However, for those of us who've explored Hangzhou's Prince Bay Park, Flower Harbor, Willow Wave Park, Maojiabu, Gushan Park, Quyuan Fenghe, Xixi Wetland, Meijiawu, and more, this garden didn't hold as much allure. Hatley Castle 🏰😔 If you've visited European castles, this one might feel underwhelming—it's quite small, and we regretted making the trip. Felt like a waste of time. BC Parliament Buildings 🏛️📜 We followed many Xiaohongshu guides suggesting visiting Butchart Gardens and Hatley Castle first before heading here. But by 1:30 PM on a Saturday, internal tour tickets were already sold out—a huge disappointment! So, if you're visiting on a weekend, prioritize this spot. Chinatown 🏮🍜 Apart from the tiny museum, there wasn't much to explore. The rice noodles at Little Yunnan were just okay. My husband spotted "Lai Sheng Kwan BBQ" mentioned in the museum and insisted we try it. We bought a roast duck—it was delicious, and the owner was super friendly! Fisherman's Wharf 🦀🎶 This was the highlight of our trip! We ordered fried fish and raw oysters—both were fantastic. Sitting by the water, enjoying the sea breeze, and listening to the live band at the neighboring Mexican restaurant was pure bliss. There's also a sea bus that runs until 9 PM, but the lines were long, and we didn't have time. Next time, I'll definitely linger longer here, maybe with a drink in hand. 8 PM Ferry Back ⛴️🌇 We arrived at the dock at 6:40 PM, and the staff let us board the 7 PM ferry. On board, we watched a breathtaking sunset. #Canada #Vancouver #Victoria #Travel 🌍📸
