šŸ” Stumbled upon a hidden gem of a free museum in London!

ā—½ļø Today, I went to Columbia Road Flower Market to buy some flowers. As soon as I stepped out of the subway, I was surprised to find a museum right at the entrance. 😮 ā—½ļø After the flower market, I decided to check out the museum, and little did I know I was in for an amazing exhibition experience. šŸ˜Ž šŸ  As the world's only museum dedicated to "home," this place condenses 400 years of British home evolution into a series of vintage rooms. šŸ  ā—½ļø From an old Victorian living room to an 18th-century workhouse and a futuristic home in 2049, the attention to detail is impeccable šŸ’Æ Every shot I took had a cinematic feel! šŸŽ„ ā—½ļø The museum's interactive elements are also top-notch. The computers and games displayed in the "homes" are actually playable! I was shocked to see two guys playing retro games in the museum šŸŽ® It was quite a sight! šŸ˜† ā—½ļø What's particularly worth mentioning is that I happened to catch the museum's free guided tour. Under the guide's leadership, we visited two rooms from the 18th and 19th-century workhouses that are usually not open to the public. šŸšļø ā—½ļø They even lit up gas lamps to give us a feel of the "home" atmosphere in 1880. It was so cool, like traveling back in time! ā³ ā—½ļø Another funny thing was that at the beginning of the tour, there were only three of us. Besides me, there was another Chinese guy. šŸ‘Øā€šŸŽ“ šŸ„• His first sentence to me was: "I saw your radish!" (referring to my "Bu Bu" plushie). He said he went to the Wuhan concert last year and even took a picture of "Bu Bu" to show his Mayday fan friends. Who would have thought we'd "meet" like this across the distance? šŸ˜‚ ✨ All in all, it was a delightful and interesting exhibition experience. šŸ˜„ ✨ Plus, the museum has a charming little garden, and the museum's merchandise is also worth a browse. I highly recommend it to everyone! 🌟 šŸ  Museum of the Home šŸ“ Address: 136 Kingsland Rd, E2 8EA (near Hoxton station) šŸ• Hours: 10:00-17:00 (Free admission, no reservation needed! Closed on Mondays) #LondonLife |#London |#NicheExhibitions
