🇨🇦 Service So Good They Might As Well Feed Me Themselves

✨I’m usually hesitant to bring non-Cantonese-speaking friends to dim sum spots because of bad experiences (seriously, some staff can be so rude it’s almost PTSD-inducing…). ✨But the server at our table was super sweet and attentive. I was busy replying to emails and not eating, so she gently reminded me the food would get cold and even kept scooping sea cucumber into my congee for me. She also moved the dim sum closer, basically making sure I didn’t starve!! The whole team seemed to have a great vibe too—everyone was polite and friendly with each other. We got the $98 set, which included: ✔ 2lbs lobster ✔ Soup ✔ Greens ✔ Fried dough sticks (youtiao) ✔ Seafood congee ✔ 3 dim sum items We picked: ✔ Phoenix claws (chicken feet) – Braised in fermented tofu sauce, fall-off-the-bone tender. ✔ Golden lava sesame balls – My Cantonese friend said these really showed the chef’s skill—we both loved them! ✔ BBQ pork buns ✨The lobster was pre-cut, so easy to eat. They also have private dining rooms, and the whole vibe felt just like a restaurant back home. ✨I’d give the service alone 100/10. If I’m gonna have dim sum anyway, why not go somewhere that actually makes me feel welcome? ✨ Seafood Princess #100RestaurantsChallenge #TorontoLife #FoodInspo #TorontoEats #Scarborough #ScarboroughEats #ScarbTO #Foodie #TorontoFood #TorontoDimSum #CantoneseCuisine #TorontoSeafood #YumCha
