šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ So much amazing food in Richmond

āļø Bai Zhen Lou My top Cantonese restaurant in Vancouver—I always want to order the whole menu! Their white nut pork tripe and bone soup is a classic. Love the geoduck scrambled eggs, taro crispy duck, eggplant with tiger prawns/geoduck… I didn’t snap pics of everything because I was too busy eating šŸ˜‚ The only letdown was the claypot rice with cured meat. āļø Hao Ji Whole Lamb Restaurant No gaminess here—go with confidence! My fave is the scallion lamb stir-fry: tender, perfectly seasoned… I almost finished the whole plate alone! Their lamb skewers are juicy and well-spiced (though a bit chewy). Huge menu—still so much to try! āļø Happy Valley Restaurant My second-favorite Cantonese spot in Richmond. Their wasabi lobster is plate-licking good šŸ¦ž, and the salt & pepper geoduck blew my mind! Their dim sum has always been consistent—my go-place when I’m craving yum cha. āļø Pho 37 An old-school favorite. Two underrated picks: the spicy peanut broth pho (rich and aromatic) and the grilled short rib rice—a hidden gem I eat weekly! Huge portions. My brother is now obsessed too šŸ˜‰ āļø Shan Li Tun Just discovered their stir-fried flatbread—a carb dream! šŸ’„ Crispy, oily, irresistible… I could make a meal out of just this. All carb lovers must try! āļø Cang Ying Guan Zi Don’t let my messy photo fool you—this place is legit! šŸŒ¶ļø Even though I can’t handle spice, I couldn’t stop eating. The husband-wife lung slice (cold appetizer) and small fried chicken (hot dish) are my top picks! Authentic Chengdu flavors. Heard they’ve reopened for dine-in! āļø Steveston Pizza Co. A classic at Fisherman’s Wharf šŸ• Their lobster-tail + prawn + salmon pizza is massive—over $100 but feeds three. Ingredients are fresh, though the potato base and crust weren’t my thing. Not the best pizza, but definitely the most impressive! āļø Wang Shanghai Cooking As someone from Shanghai, I love their traditional pastries. From green dumplings (qingtuan) to mooncakes, yolk pies, pork floss buns, eight-treasure rice… you name it! Everything is delicious (though some red bean items are a bit sweet for me). The pork floss buns are HUGE and so good—no pic because I always eat them too fast šŸ˜‚ Their frozen shepherd’s purse & pork wontons taste just like home! #RichmondEats #FoodieFaves #CantoneseFood #HiddenGems #EatLikeALocal #VanFoodies #MustTry #FoodRecs
