🇨🇦 Toronto’s Premium Japanese Katsu Spot🐖✨

The Eglinton area has been getting seriously delicious lately! I randomly stumbled upon this place on IG — a premium Japanese katsu restaurant that quietly opened just 10 days ago. So irresistible… I rushed over the next day! 📍Moru 6 Eglinton Ave E, Toronto Branding itself as a “Premium Katsu Restaurant,” it definitely has its specialties — like meat aged for 270 hours! 🕒 The menu features: 🍖 Tonkatsu (three types): Rosu Katsu (classic fried pork cutlet) Hire Katsu (pink, medium-rare pork cutlet) 🥩 Cheese Katsu 🧀 🍤 Ebi Katsu (fried shrimp) + Menchi (fried meatball) 🍗 Chicken Katsu 🥬 Veggie Katsu They also offer a best-value option: $39 to try ALL signature katsu! The platter in my pic includes almost everything — huge portion, easily enough for two. Highlights: 🌟 Hire Katsu: Incredibly tender aged pork loin. Lean but juicy — melts like a dream. 🌟 Cheese Katsu: Can’t go wrong! Stuffed with generous cheese — so comforting. 🌟 Ebi Katsu: Giant shrimp wrapped in kadaif (vermicelli) — super crispy! One is perfect; more might be too rich. Rosu Katsu and Veggie Katsu were good but not standout. Perfect pairing with katsu? Udon! I ordered the Gidori Udon 🍜 The noodles are on the thinner side (not the thick round type), in a light seafood broth with big chunks of grilled chicken thigh — great value! 🙌🏻 As a casual meal, this place is a warm, satisfying choice 🥢 #TorontoFood #Katsu #JapaneseCuisine
