🇨🇦 Toronto | Allegedly the Best Pho in the City
Finally checked off this long-time bookmarked spot! My CBV (Canada-Born Vietnamese) massage therapist has been raving about this place for ages—claiming it’s the best pho in Toronto! 🏆 I even questioned his credibility as a CBV, but he swore up and down that his Vietnamese driving instructor (a long-time immigrant) took him here. Later, when he visited Vietnam, he said the pho there wasn’t as good because "Vietnamese cows are too lean and lack flavor" (his words, not mine! 😅). (BTW, major shoutout to my massage therapist in North York—specializes in sports massage (not relaxation!), a towering gym bro who mercilessly attacks muscle knots. The screams from his treatment room are legendary… Hope he doesn’t get too popular—DM if you need deets! 💪😆) 🍜 310 Specialty Pho (XL) We ordered the largest size to share, and they brought out a literal basin of pho! 🍲✨ The broth was rich and savory (yes, you can taste the MSG, but who cares? 😋). We drank every last drop! The beef portions were generous, and yes—it had that deep, beefy flavor 🐄🔥. There was one fattier cut that melted like butter—obsessed. ❤️🔥 🍛 512 "Everything But the Kitchen Sink" Rice Plate (name too long…) Saw this on another table and had to copy! 🏃♀️💨 It came with grilled chicken, pork chop, fried pork belly, shredded pork, and broken rice—EVERY. MEAT. WAS. PERFECT. 🥩💯 Crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the sauce-soaked rice? HEAVEN. ❤️🔥❤️🔥 🍘 Mystery Appetizer (Rice Cake?) Ordered this because it looked like Teochew "Shui Kueh" (steamed rice cake)—never seen it at other pho spots! 🧐 The texture was spot-on, but the topping (some kind of minced meat?) wasn’t as good as Teochew pickles. 🫤 Skip unless you’re curious. 📍 Pho Mi Viet Hoa 2887 Jane St, North York, ON M3N 2J6 (Yes, that Jane & Finch.
