Food: 5 Stars Service: 4 Stars Ambience: 3 Stars Value: 5 Stars Overall: 4.25 Stars

I ordered takeout for pickup from Pho Mi Viet Hoa, and overall, I was impressed with the experience. I decided to try their Bun Thap Cam, which came with generous portion sizes that were more than satisfying. The value for what you pay here is truly exceptional, especially considering the amount of food you receive. It's clear that they aim to deliver authentic Vietnamese cuisine, and for the most part, they succeed. The flavours were vibrant, and the dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, making for a delicious meal.

However, I did find that the fish sauce provided was a bit too sweet for my taste. This is a personal preference, of course, and not necessarily a flaw in their cooking. I ended up using my mom's homemade fish sauce, which complemented the dish perfectly. For those who prefer a less sweet fish sauce, it might be worth mentioning this preference when ordering. Despite this minor hiccup, I thoroughly enjoyed the meal and found it to be well-balanced and flavourful.

In terms of value, Pho Mi Viet Hoa offers great bang for your buck. The portion sizes are more than generous, and the quality of the food is commendable. The authenticity of the dishes is a highlight, and it’s clear that they put effort into maintaining traditional Vietnamese flavours. While I didn’t dine in, the takeout process was smooth, and my order was ready promptly, which I appreciated.

In conclusion, Pho Mi Viet Hoa is a solid choice if you're craving authentic Vietnamese food at a reasonable price. The portion sizes, quality, and overall value make it a worthwhile option. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a hearty and delicious meal, but if you're particular about your fish sauce, it might be worth asking for an alternative or bringing your own. I’ll definitely be back to try more items from their...

Visited on a Thursday for a late lunch, so it wasn’t too busy. We were seated right away, and given iced tea which I appreciated, since it was quite hot that afternoon. Upon sitting down, I noticed that in addition to the usual condiments, there were some house made ones that I haven’t seen at other restaurants. There was pickled garlic and a spicy pepper mix. The spicy peppers had a nice kick and tanginess.

We ordered the Goi Tom Cuon (shrimp fresh rolls)  Bun Bo Nuong ( Bun with grilled beef and spring roll)  and the Pho Dac Biet (Special beef rice noodle soup) As other reviewers mentioned, the portion sizes of the pho are huge. The large bowl here would be an extra large at other places. Everything was good, but particularly enjoyed the peanut dipping sauce that came with the fresh rolls and the spring roll that come with the Bun.

Be sure to mention if there are any ingredients you want to avoid. I didn’t think to do so, and didn’t realize that they used chicharrónes as a garnish on the Bun, which I don’t eat. I was ok with removing it, but it could be an issue for others.

Overall well worth the visit, as the service was fast, portions were generous and prices were decent. My only critique would be that the washroom was not...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Mi Viet, and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy ambiance that immediately made me feel at home. The menu offered a delightful array of authentic Vietnamese dishes, but what truly stood out was their pho. Each bowl was bursting with flavor, with perfectly cooked noodles and a rich, aromatic broth that left me craving more. The freshness of the ingredients was evident in every bite, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who ensured that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. Overall, Pho Mi Viet is a gem of a restaurant, and I cannot wait to return to sample more of their delicious offerings. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine served...
